Lincoln University in Lesotho offers Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Pediatrics, a 4-year postgraduate degree in the field of medicine, focusing on medical conditions affecting babies, children, and young people. The course will be focusing on the study, diagnosis and cure of infants, children and adolescents. Program Aim
The dominant aim of this program is to produce competent pediatricians who will be able to recognize the health needs of neonates, infants, children and adolescents and carries out professional obligations ethically. The professionals will be acquiring skills in communicating with the child, family and the community, and oriented to the principles of research methodology, and recent advances in the domain of Pediatrics. The aspirants will also acquire a broader perspective of Pediatrics as well as its integral aspects. This learning will thus help the students to plan a career as far as the Pediatrics is concerned.
