The program Master of Surgery in General Surgery will produce potential professionals who are able to:

Show that they have the knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts required for the following: taking a patient's history, performing a physical examination, performing diagnostic tests, making a differential diagnosis, performing clinical interventions and therapeutics, and maintaining a patient's health in a surgical setting.
Communicate clearly with patients and other staff members in the surgical context.
Get ready for and take part in the intra-operative care of common surgical problems in the operating room.
Discuss about post-operative care for patients while performing post-operative wound inspections and identifying typical post-operative problems in the inpatient environment.
Be effective in their communication with all medical personnel in the operating room (operating room).
Execute standard technical procedures on an adult patient following surgery
