The Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology degree at Lesotho's Lincoln University prepares students to make accurate diagnoses utilising relevant samples. Furthermore, it allows them to participate in both laboratory and clinical research, allowing them to expand their knowledge and skills. The programme is designed for students who wish to be a part of ground-breaking scientific research and contribute to the growth of biomedical knowledge by learning how diseases work on a molecular level. Program Aim

The program will produce potential professionals who are able to:

Explain understanding of the histogenetic and patho-physiologic procedures associated with diverse pathologies during discussions with colleagues, doctors, students, and patients.
Use reasonable accuracy when interpreting clinical and laboratory data.
Provide pathology training that focuses on interpretation, investigation, and management.
Link clinical and pathology data to explain and link numerous clinical indications, symptoms, and manifestations of disease.
Keep accurate records of tests and their outcomes for a reasonable amount of time so that they can be accessed as needed.
Coordinate and collaborate with subordinates and colleagues in a laboratory.
