Overview

Master of Dentistry in Prosthodontics is an internationally recognized specialty in clinical dentistry. It is also referred to as the restoration dentist, prosthodontists restore and repair of broken or missing teeth. They often do this by using crowns, dentures or bridges. The course teaches the restoring and maintaining oral comfort, function, health and appearance with replacements. Prosthodontists specialize in oral cancer reconstruction, mouth injuries, jaw joint problems and snoring or sleep disorders. The students will learn about the diagnosis, management and treatment of missing or worn teeth. The candidates will be provided with training in fixed, removable and implant-supported prostheses.
